* Create Type Layer and rasterize type
* Load Aging Affections - Rust Brushes
* Select the Eraser (E) tool and load a custom brush from the Brush Preset picker
* Use Eraser to remove type

* Ctrl/Cmd+Click the Type Layer icon in the Layers Palette to create a selection based upon the type
* Create a New Layer
* Add a Layer Mask by clicking the icon in the Layers Palette
* Activate visibility of the Layer Mask by clicking the icon in the Channels Palette
* Select the Brush tool and Brush Preset and stencil in the distressed type
